Netball New Zealand and Muffin Break are proud to continue their partnership to help deliver Netball’s junior player development programme throughout 2019.
The Muffin Break Player Development Programme is an accelerated learning programme specifically created for Year 7 and 8 players.
The programme launched with Muffin Break’s support in 2018, provides players aged from 5-12 years-old, the chance to take part in Netball through modified formats of the game aiming to further develop their skills, increase participation and ensure enjoyment.
Netball New Zealand Chief Executive Jennie Wyllie said they were excited to have Muffin Break’s continued support in the Development Programme aimed at the next generation of Netballers.
“The development of our future players is such an important focus for us and we are pleased to have Muffin Break onboard to help take this programme around the country,” she said.
Foodco NZ Ltd General Manager Jon Hassall said Muffin Break was looking forward to continue working with Netball New Zealand with the goal of helping young people to develop a life-long love of the sport.
“We know how important it is for young people to participate and be active in sport and the role that plays in such an important development time of their lives,” he said.
“Muffin Break is excited to continue the partnership with Netball New Zealand and look forward to engaging with the wider netball community with this exciting new programme.”
