Muffin Break Named Coffee Shop of the Year 2026

Kiwis have spoken, and Muffin Break has been named Coffee Shop of the Year in the 2026 Roy Morgan New Zealand Customer Satisfaction Awards.

Roy Morgan is an independent research company, and its awards are based entirely on what customers say. Over the past year, more than 6,000 New Zealanders rated how satisfied they were with the businesses they use, across 25 categories ranging from banks and airlines to supermarkets and coffee shops. Among coffee shops, Muffin Break came out on top.

This award really belongs to our franchisees and their café teams around the country. They’re the ones up early for the morning bake, keeping things moving through the weekend coffee-and-muffin rush, remembering your usual and sending you off with a smile. Thank you to every one of them.
