Pre-Order App

  • The Pre-Order feature of the Muffin Break NZ App enables Muffin Break customers, who have previously downloaded the Muffin Break NZ app and registered their details onto their smartphone, to order available items via the App to be picked up at a predetermined time at selected and predetermined Muffin Break NZ stores.
  • If the App Holder uses the Pre-Order Coffee feature, the App Holder agrees to be bound by these ‘Usage conditions – Pre-Order Items’ terms and conditions.
  • If the App Holder suffers from any food allergies, please let the Muffin Break staff know by clearly communicating what you are allergic to in the “notes” field during ordering process. Muffin Break staff will use their best efforts to meet your requirements, however Muffin Break NZ will assume no liability for any allergic reactions that occur from incorrect order processing or cross contamination or other such error.
  • The Muffin Break NZ pre-order App provides App Holders the ability to pre-order their preferred items at participating Muffin Breaks once they have successfully and correctly inputted each of the following details into the App:
  • their valid and non-expired credit card or debit card issued by a New Zealand bank (‘Credit or Debit Card’) which is eligible at Muffin Break (the App Holder can check whether their Credit or Debit Card is permitted by attempting to input its details into the Pre-Order App process); andany other detail as required by Muffin Break from time to time

Failure to correctly input or complete the details required for the Muffin Break NZ Pre-Order Registration Process will result in Pre-Order functionality being unavailable for use by the App Holder and Muffin Break takes no responsibility for this.

  • If the App Holder has successfully ordered and paid for a coffee or hot drink using the Muffin Break NZ Pre-Order App, but cannot pick up their coffee or hot drink until after the time they selected, Muffin Break is not obliged to make the App Holder a fresh coffee or hot drink on the App Holder’s arrival at the Participating Muffin Break the App Holder chose to pick their coffee or hot drink up from. Muffin Break is also not obliged to make the App Holder a fresh coffee or hot drink if the coffee or hot drink the App Holder successfully ordered and paid for using the Pre-Order App, was not hot enough when the App Holder picked the coffee or hot drink up at the App Holder pre-selected pick up.
  • Once the App Holder has successfully ordered and paid for a food or drink item using the Muffin Break Pre-Order App feature, the coffee or hot drink order cannot be cancelled and the App Holder will not be entitled to a refund for this reason.  Similarly, if the App Holder finds themselves unable to collect their food or drink after they have ordered and paid for it through the Muffin Break Pre-Order App feature, they will not be entitled to a refund for this reason,
  • The App Holder acknowledges that not all Credit and Debit Card may be accepted at all Participating Muffin Break stores when registering for Muffin Break NZ’s Pre-Order App.
  • The App Holder acknowledges they are providing their Credit or Debit Card details to Paymark Limited (‘Paymark’) who securely hold their details on their system. Muffin Break will never see nor store the details of the App Holder’s Credit or Debit Cards.

 

  • The App Holder will not be able to register or continue to use a Credit or Debit Card for Pre-Ordering if it has expired, has been reported stolen by the issuer of the App Holder’s Credit or Debit Card or is no longer eligible for use in Pre-Ordering for any reason whatsoever.
  • The App Holder acknowledges that while the App Holder has a Credit or Debit Card registered for Muffin Break Pre-Ordering App, if the App Holder’s physical card is cancelled, or expires, the Credit or Debit Card registered on the App Holder’s Pre Order account will also be cancelled or expired and Pre Order payment will not be possible.  If the App Holder chooses to cancel or de-register from the Muffin Break NZ Pre-Order App, or delete the App altogether, this will have no effect on their physical Credit or Debit Card and their Credit or Debit will still be able to be used.
  • If the App Holder’s smartphone or their physical Credit or Debit Card is lost or stolen they must immediately cancel all digital occurrences of the App Holder’s Credit or Debit Card registered on the App Holder’s Muffin Break NZ Pre-Ordering App.
  • The App Holder may delete or re-add a Credit or Debit Card by removing their current Muffin Break NZ Pre-Order registration and completing the registration Process again.
